Recently on LinkedIn, I asked where business owners/managers were with their marketing on a scale of 1 (little/no activity) to 10 (storming it).
Most of those that commented said between a 3 & a 5.
And the impression I got was a lack of time, not sure where to start or how to make it manageable.
I start every client with a marketing audit which includes what is wanting to be achieved.
Then prioritise the target audience you are looking to attract, prioritise the activity into manageable segments and work on those activities one at a time. Don’t forget to make sure you’ve got a way to measure the activity impact too.
It might take a couple of hours of time but it will certainly reap the rewards & give peace of mind that steps are being taken in a manageable & measurable manner.
Could you take a few hours one day this week to grow your business & get more sales?
